Modern Romantic Ikebana Editorial at Tendue | Rachael Meader Floral and Event Design

This editorial was inspired by my deep love of matcha tea. I knew I wanted to incorporate the fresh green color that matcha is known for, while also adding touches of romance with mauve and light pink. Golden Hour Paper brought in a deep accent of eggplant that Foraged Blooms echoed in her arrangements with firtillaria, which is one of my favorite flowers. We used modern stoneware that served as a neutral background for a whimsical miniature eggplant. The amazingly talented girls at Cake Nouveau created an absolutely stunning "painted" cake. All of this was captured by the extremely talented McKenna Rachelle Photography at the beautiful Tendue space.
