Katie and Nelson's wedding was a food and wine lovers paradise. Nestled in the heart of the Willamette Valley, At The Joy served as the perfect backdrop for this beautiful wine country wedding. The couple opted for a non-traditional event that focused on delicious food, great wine, and a good time.
The groom, a James Beard Award winning sommelier, wanted to bring elements of the vineyard into our design plan. We ended up going with a simple palette of white, black, green, and gold as our foundation. The bride, a music manager, adores anemone and roses which we sourced from local grower Peterkort.
Spatzle and Speck dished out delicious food all night long including prosciutto wrapped melon, halibut, tomahawk steak, and a late night snack of wings, fires, and queso. Cake, cookies, and truffles came from Milk Bar.
